The six-cylinder models of the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé have recently been upgraded. The innovations can be seen in the front apron, which now resembles the design of the eight-cylinder models. The two outer air intakes and the large central air intake below the radiator grille form a jet wing profile that emphasizes the width of the vehicle and directs the airflow to important elements such as the radiator or brakes. The standard equipment now includes an electric sunroof and a wireless charging option for smartphones between the rear seats. In addition, the digital infotainment system MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) has been updated and offers a new look, newly designed AMG-specific displays and individually configurable functions.

In combination with the optional Burmester® surround sound system or the Burmester® high-end 3D surround sound system, the vehicle offers a new sound experience thanks to Dolby Atmos. Sporty driving performance remains unchanged, with a 3,0-litre straight-six engine producing either 270 kW (367 hp) or 320 kW (435 hp) and featuring dual turbocharging and an integrated starter-generator. The V8 styling package enables the six-cylinder models to be designed even more individually. It includes a new front apron, specific side member panels and a rear apron with diffuser.

The front section of the V8 styling package adopts design elements from the AMG GT Black Series, such as the wider open radiator grille, the wide lower air intake and the precise air guide elements on the outer edges. This emphasizes the connection to the AMG GT family and the racing origins even more. Additional functions are included in the other optional equipment packages. In the basic version, the front splitter is now also available in high-gloss chrome with the chrome package. A similar structure applies to the carbon package, where the front splitter is also available in carbon.
Front splitter and flics get a new shape
With the aerodynamics package in combination with the V8 styling package, the front splitter and the flics are given a new shape. Customers can now also choose the new color opalith white metallic from the color range. The wheel portfolio and the range of upholstery remain unchanged.
