TOP - 2018 Audi RS5 as MTM RS5 R with 532 PS & 700 NM

MTM - engine technology Mayer has screwed on the current Audi RS5 and will this next to the 2018 MTM Audi RS3 R Clubsport present at the Geneva Motor Show next weekend. As is well known, the RS5 comes from the factory with the 2,9l TFSI V6-BiTurbo, the powerful 450 HP distributed to all four wheels by means of quattro drive. But for MTM that was far from enough and so the engine is helped to jump in performance to 532 PS / 391 KW (at 5.800 rpm) and 700 NM torque (at 3.200 rpm). The lion's share of the increase in performance comes from the in-house MTM M-Cantronic software (Tuning box for plug & play installation) as well as some changes to the intercooler and a flap sports exhaust system with tailpipes including chic carbon sheathing.

The power is now sufficient to accelerate in only 3,6 seconds to 100 km / h and claim with an electronically sealed top speed of 280 km / h, the left lane of the highway for themselves. Visually MTM holds back here and missed the RS5 R only a subtle foliation as well as a beautiful 21 inch MTM Nardo Schmiederadsatz (10 x 21 ET25 with Micheling Pilot Super sports tires in 295 / 25 R21) thanks to adjustable thread springs (Front axle -25mm / rear axle -20mm) sits perfectly in the wheel arch. Incidentally, all the carbon details on the outside and inside come directly from Audi, and MTM believes that this is sufficient and therefore brings the RS5 R to the customer without any additional accessories.

All in all, the RS5 R is thus a bit braver than the above-linked RS3 R but still clearly distinguishable from the production vehicle and the most impressive is probably noticeable when pedaling on the gas pedal. If we get more details about the changes, there is, of course, an update for this report. It is best to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will get in touch immediately. We wish you a lot of fun watching the pictures.
