If you've ever wondered if a "adventure scooter’ is an option for you, it could be Keeway Vieste 300 XDV be exactly the model you should consider. Inspired by Honda's ADV 350, the Chinese manufacturer Keeway, a member of the Qianjiang Group, presents a scooter that is not only affordable but also technically attractive. The Vieste 300 XDV is an upgrade to Keeway's previous 300cc runabouts. Not only does it get a fancier adventure look, it also has a reinforced substructure. The performance increase goes from 19 hp at 6.500 rpm to an impressive one 25 PS at 8.250 rpm. up. And the torque also increases: from 22 Nm at 6.000 rpm 24 Nm at 7.000 rpm. The 300 XDV is powered by a liquid-cooled 278cc single cylinder.

The brake? 240 mm front and 220 mm rear disc brakes, with ABS being a must for European homologation. And there's also good news for the chassis: the front wheel is powered by a Upside down fork with 90 mm of travel, while at the rear two spring struts with 65 mm of travel ensure comfort.

On further technical data the following details are known: The scooter achieves a Top speed of 120 km / h, has a seat height of 800 mm and a tank that holds 13,5 liters. The dry weight is 159 kilograms with an allowed payload of 156 kg. The ground clearance is 160 mm. And there is also good news in terms of price: the scooter will be offered at a special price of EUR 2023 until the end of September 3.990, after which the price will increase to 4.290 bills.

Vieste 300 XDV vs Honda ADV 350!

While the Keeway Vieste 300 XDV is a cheap option, the question is whether it can compete with the Honda ADV 350, which was launched in 2022 with a price of 6.860 EUR (as of August 2023). The Honda may have a little more power (29,2 hp and 31,5 Nm) and additional equipment, including voice control for Android devices, but the Keeway definitely has its merits. Especially at the price!

  • The Keeway Vieste 300 XDV is a welcome addition to the scooter world, especially for those looking for a great value adventure option. While it may not match some of the Japanese giants in terms of performance, the price is definitely enticing.
