After the gigantic success of the previous year, SPORTEC will be back on September 17.09.2022th, 10 from 19 a.m. to 2022 p.m. Between petrol talks, visitors to the OPEN HOUSE DAY 2 will be offered a lot. The Zurich company is also presenting Plant XNUMX to the public for the first time. And in a sim competition, the aim is to beat three-time Le Mans winner Marcel Fässler on the virtual circuit of Monza.

OPEN HOUSE DAY 2022

On the occasion of the OPEN HOUSE DAY 2022, SPORTEC does not splash out and has a jam-packed programme. Petrolheads, motorsport and classic car fans get a lot to see when they take a look behind the scenes. A number of exclusive Lamborghini exhibits will be on display this year under the motto "Fight of the Bulls". A special automobile duo will draw the attention of visitors.

Extraordinary spectacle

With Plant 2, SPORTEC opens the gates of the location, which was taken over in January 2022, to the public for the first time. This is also the starting point for the «SPORTEC-GP Höri». From here, an original Porsche GT3 Cup, such as that used successfully by SPORTEC MOTORSPORT in the Porsche Sports Cup Suisse, drives slowly along the closed track directly to Plant 1. And not just once a day. In addition, visitors can see live when a car is measured under full load on the SPORTEC performance test bench.

Fässler against the rest of the world

In Plant 2, racers, SimRacers and those who want to become one can compete with Marcel Fässler in the SimChallenge. On the virtual circuit of Monza, the goal is to beat the best time set by the three-time Le Mans winner. And the effort of the participants is rewarded. At the end of the day, the applicant with the fastest lap time can win a set of Pirelli tires. So that whets the appetite for more. Speaking of appetite. In both Plant 2 and Plant 1, visitors are treated to culinary delicacies. And they are free!

For example, the Rare Street Coffee in Rapperswil has been known for its delicious cuisine and, of course, good coffee for several years. For the visitors, the smoker in plant 1 is brought to full speed. Plant 2, on the other hand, has Monika with her fiery red American hot dog food trailer under her culinary control and prepares the best hot dogs in the world while you watch the SimRacers qualifying or preparing for the Porsche GT3 Cup for the "GP Höri". Action is guaranteed from 10 a.m. to 19 p.m. and a visit is always worthwhile.
