After tuner ABT Sportsline recently joined the S5 and the S6 helped to achieve more performance, the S4 could of course not be missing. As is well known, since the beginning of the year he has no longer been allowed to compete with the 354 PS & 500 NM strong VW EA839 V6 biturbo, but, like his two brothers, is now relying on the 347 PS & 700 NM strong VW EA897 evo2 diesel engine. Although this is anything but underpowered in an A4 Avant, better performance compared to the VorFacelift is not really achieved in series production. This is certainly due to the 150 kg higher curb weight of the S4 compared to the variant up to 2018.

But as for all Audi models with the new 6-cylinder TDI, ABT-Sportsline had the same for the S4 Additional control unit Abt Engine Control (AEC) at the beginning. And the result is identical to 384 PS and 760 NM torque. The sprint to 100 km / h is reduced from 4,9 to 4,7 seconds and in addition he can even show the tail lights on the ABT S6. The reason is of course the design-related weight difference between A4 and A6. And visually ABT has a few changes ready for the Ingolstadt. The photo vehicle was lowered by a few millimeters using thread springs (Lowering from 15 to 40 mm) and in addition came still own Sport stabilizers for use.

However, the most visually striking feature is clearly the ABT Sport GR-forged wheels with a finish in matt black and an otherwise diamond-trimmed surface that perfectly fits the wheel arches in 9 × 20 inches ET33 and 255 / 30 R20 tires. Other models such as the FR, GR or ER-C models are of course also available for the S4. And there is also an LED luminaire with ABT logo for the interior with the door-entry lighting fitted as standard.
