Already last year it has the team of Geiger Performance (GeigerCars) At the tuner Grand Prix managed to reach place 1 (double triumph) and that is exactly what continued this year. Also this year's edition of the Tuner Grand Prix (01.-03.06.2018 at the Hockenheimring as part of the High Performance Days) was dominated by GeigerCars and again twice. With a track-optimized and 780 PS strong Corvette C7 Z06 surnamed "Emma" drove pilot Daniel Keilwitz with 1: 05.651 minutes the fastest time on the 2.585 meter long racetrack. Just behind it was already the 710 PS strong Viper ACR nicknamed "Molly" for this discipline needed a time of 1: 06.086 minutes in the super sports car class.
Only clear 1,5 seconds behind it Tomislav Bodrozic placed in the 799 PS TIKT performance Z06 R. The top position in the races before it made according to regulations that the Z06 as second last and the Viper as the third last starter were allowed to go into the race. With a catapult launch raced Daniel Keilwitz through the field and had overtaken after the first turn after the flying start all other vehicles. From there on, he was no longer in first place and, apart from Viper ACR team-mate Daniel Schwerfeld, he even outclassed all vehicles at the end of the 20-minute final race. CONGRATULATION!
