Even if the Mercedes X-Class (W470) is no longer produced after only two years, the demand for tuning components remains high. The pickup, which is largely identical to the Nissan Navara and Renault Alaskan, can be equipped with new rims or a complete aerodynamics package on request. Tuners like Prior Design, Carlex design or Brabus have known how to do it for some time. And also the British tuner Kahn Design has already done extensive work with the X-Class dealt with. And the team around the designer Afzal Kahn is now getting another copy in evil black. This time there was again the complete program with aluminum rims, body components and a new interior, but this time a completely new paint job. And one with a 3D surface as a so-called "Black Military".

Apart from the no-name grille, we really like the result. The Mercedes star, in the successful Panamericana look grille, should be present. Without the star, the X-Class can hardly be distinguished from a VW Amarok, a Nissan Navara or the Ford Ranger, even if they have a no-name grille. But of course that's a matter of taste! In any case, the fender flares all around and the mighty bull catcher were successful.
Kahn alloy wheels type G06
They even pull themselves over the aprons at the front and back on both sides and have save exposed screw connections. Even the frames in the front apron around the air inlets are made by Kahn Design, but only visible at second glance. All chrome has been removed from the X-Class and the rear windows have been darkened. And the new 22-inch in-house alloy wheels of the type G06 have also received the black 3D texture of the body. They are equipped with Roadstone tires in the format 285/45 R22 all around and it is also individual in the cabin. Here the tuner has installed a new leather interior in black and red, which impresses with red stitching and the elegant pattern.
Leather-covered dashboard and central armrest
Even the dashboard and the center armrest are covered with leather. And small details such as the Kahn Design Badges in the backrests provide skilful accents. A successful vehicle that can currently be bought directly from Kahn Design at a price of 63.999 pounds sterling (approx. 71.000 euros).
