In December 2015, the tuner even ventured on the high-tech hybrids BMW i8 and modified this to EVO i8 with powerful spoiler work and big aluminum wheels. All in all, not necessarily more conspicuous than one AC Schnitzer i8 but it did not really fit.

In March, then came in my opinion the first handsome vehicle in the form of a BMW M3 F80 with matt chrome foil on the street and that's where the current I8 ties in. In contrast to the i8 from 2015, not so much has changed, the small details and the fact that the car is black and the carbon add-on parts make this version look much more pleasing. The guys around the Energy Motor Sport team built the I8 for the Chinese racing team Linky Racing and we are happy to show you the pictures. After the quite pleasing tuning cure that the i8 was allowed to endure, it is now much more exciting, more individual and also more dynamic than the production version and is currently one of the most heavily modified I8s.
