"Nothing is impossible toyota!" Hardly any Toyota could bring the legendary slogan to mind as well as this 1969 Corolla. Because the completely restored and rebuilt one-off piece with the project name "Toyota Corolla IS F V8" was married to a 2010 Lexus IS F in an incredibly lavish manner. However, as is often the case, the new technology was not stuffed into the Corolla and then used Restomod done, the steps were exactly the opposite. You have the 1969er Corolla body and the chassis of the IS F with V8. And of course there is also one for this unofficial Term. The whole thing is then called every timer, Now the oldie is carrying a 5,0-liter V8 engine under the hood that supplies the rear wheels with 421 hp and an impressive 503 Nm of torque.

unusual look - the IS F V8

It goes without saying that such a project is extremely complex. The significantly wider track of the Lexus meant that the body had to be spread out in a complex manner. However, this has been implemented so well that the original shape is still preserved. Brief Insight: the body was cut in half and extended by 6 cm and widened by a total of approx. 30 cm. The wheelbase of the Lexus was shortened by about 14 inches and then everything was painted in olive green. In the course of the changes to the body, you have the factory trim strips as well as the page marks removed and the aprons are kept particularly clean at the front and back. The same applies to the fiberglass hood and tailgate on any spoilers or air intakes to do without entirely.

Only that Talbot-style rear-view mirror stand out a little on the body. And in addition to the complete technology of the engine, transmission and drive, a look through the specially made “pickup” front and rear window of the Corolla even shows an interior with a complete Lexus landscape. There were the sporty upholstered electric seats of the Japanese, the Lexus infotainment system, the gear lever and even the instrument panel are typically Lexus IS F. In addition, many small details such as an Alcantara steering wheel with shift paddles or the Lexus center console with carbon inlays. Only the one welded into the rear part Roll bar is not standard, but is absolutely necessary to stiffen the vehicle.

An enormous number of other changes that are not immediately visible, such as the fully adjustable coilover suspension, the high-performance braking system or safety systems such as ABS and ESP, make the Corolla not only unique, but especially "drivable".
