As early as 2014, MTM and the DIRKS Group were of the opinion that a thick diesel V8 is much better off in the beefy VW Amarok and built it Amarok V8 Passion STREET whose main area of application, as the name suggests, is the road. And today MTM brings something for the rough, namely the beefy VW Amarok V8 Passion DESERT which is also equipped with the 4,2l V8 TDI engine and the well-known increase in performance to 410PS & 930NM, but also thanks to powerful BBS SV rims including lavish Cooper tires in the 305/50 ZR 20 inch king-size format and other modifications such as a front bar, underride protection or a roll cage is much better off-road than the street version. The guys around the MTM team published the project today and will take the car to the Geneva Motor Show and present it to the world there. After the tuning cure that the Amarok was allowed to endure, it is now much more powerful and with 410PS V8 also much more powerful than the production version and should probably only have the price of just under 200.000 € as the only point of criticism. If you are thinking of buying an Amarok in the future or already own one, MTM is definitely an interesting starting point when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model.
