After already HGP the Ateca Cupra on maximum 480 PS pushes now has the Tuningschmiede MTM - engine technology Mayer GmbH an upgrade for the sporty Spaniard in the race. Currently with a maximum of 360 PS, but also planned here are 480 horses. Alone by means of chip tuning (new software for the engine control unit) MTM achieves that the charged two-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine gains strength on 360 PS & 470 NM. And a second variant is also available and so it brings the M-Cantronic Generation II to 350 PS & 450 NM (300 PS & 400 NM series) which improves the acceleration from 5,2 seconds to just 4,8 seconds . The variant with 360 PS also has the advantage that the top speed increases from 247 km / h to 259 km / h.
maximum 480 PS in the MTM Cupra Ateca
But soon you plan by means of changes to the hardware (new turbocharger, particulate filter, sports exhaust system, etc.) a performance increase to a maximum of 480 PS and thus to the level of HGP Ateca. Optically, MTM is back home. The current vehicle got a subtle lowering by MTM suspension modification and also the in-house MTM Bimoto nine-spoke wheel set with classic silver paint in 20 inches. If we receive timely information on the first converted 480 PS MTM Cupra Ateca, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if yours is just ours Feed subscribe to.
