Already in 1958, as other characters in the comic series Johann and Pfiffikus from Spirou magazine, the Smurfs. But even then Papa Smurf felt like 350 years old and from the beginning was mostly on foot. But that could change now, the tuner Waldow Performance from Rheinbach near Bonn (almost 45 kilometers from the Nürburgring) has taken on the current Renault Clio IV RS and converted it into a radical track tool. Using a variety of Renault Clio RS Cup parts and selected high-performance parts such as the KW Clubsport chassis or a Sparco 17 inch wheelset, the tuner's goal is to chase the Clio over the Nordschleife in under 8 minutes. The current best time was 8:10 minutes and that's why we're currently working on a larger turbocharger, a new downpipe and a sports catalytic converter to achieve the goal. The most striking feature, however, is clearly the smurf blue film that makes the Clio RS an absolute papa mobile (no - not for the Pope) power.
After the extremely extensive tuning cure that the Renault Clio RS was allowed to endure in the highest expansion stage as a trophy model, it is now much sportier, more individual and of course much more dynamic than the production version and the only drawback is perhaps the price of a good 40.000 €. But as the saying goes - From nothing, comes nothing - And so a car wants to be on its feet! Who in the future harbors the idea to buy a Renault Clio RS or already owns one for the Waldow Performance is certainly an interesting starting point when it comes to lift the vehicle from the production model.
