In contrast to the VW Golf, the Scirocco could almost be described as exotic, especially in the tuning area. I can't really explain why that is because the Wolfsburg looks sporty and the price / performance ratio is also good. Nevertheless, on tuningblog.eu there are around 10 VW Golfs for every modified Scirocco. Anyway, we can bring the cut up a bit now because we have just discovered a chic, tuned VW Scirocco that was published by Hawk'n'Poke magazine.

The vehicle, which was not refined by a special tuning company (tuner) but by a private tuning screwdriver, clearly shows that the owner's passion and hobby is clearly dedicated to his VW Scirocco and the subject of "tuning". Of course, there is at least one workshop in the background that made the changes for this vehicle too, that's clear! But it's just not a standard project that has been given the same accessory manufacturer from the rim to the rear spoiler. On the contrary, parts from a wide range of suppliers such as Rotiform, Mcchip-DKR or also from APR performance installed and that ensures that in the end there is a car in front of us that is considered unique and with such an individual tuning is certainly not to be found a second time.

Personally, I like these conversions best because in such conversions the owners can give free rein to their thoughts and often their own work on the body or the interior can be found. Which tuner is still working today and, for example, manages the wheel arches by hand? Often comes bodykit turn and done! This is different with this car, the personal touch of the owner is reflected in every detail and thanks to the built-in Airlift Slammed Series V2 chassis, you had to put your hand on these wheel arches so that the 18 inchers fit underneath when lowered! We already know a few details about the modifications to the VW Scirocco. What we have learned we have listed below for you in a summary.

Ps. If you want to see even more vehicles made from predominantly privately made hand look into ours Selfmade category!

These are the details of the VW Scirocco:

  • Rotiform TMB Classic alloy wheels in 18 × 9.5-10.5 inches in gold candy brushed
  • Toyo 215/40 & 235/40 tires
  • Forge intercooler
  • APR Carbon Air intake system
  • Forge DV
  • Lowering (Airride Airlift Slammed Series V2)
  • darkened / tinted windows
  • Performance increase - (Chiptuning McChip-DKR Stage 2 ECU)
  • 4-pipe sports exhaust system (more information is not available)

Certainly, new information and certainly new pictures and videos will soon be online. As soon as this is the case, we will of course put it online and inform you about it.
