If you want to enjoy a Mercedes-Benz 190SL from the sixties, you should currently budget at least 150.000 €, at least when it is supposed to drive! 200.000 € and more are more the rule ... What would a completely restored Mercedes-Benz 190SL with a Mercedes SL600 V12 bi-turbo engine cost, which the RENNtech team also equipped with almost all tuning components for the engine easy to get stronger to over 650PS? We don't know, the 190 SL with the project name “Mercedes-Bent” is not for sale, and rightly so! The beautiful Restomod project was completed in 2010 and presented at the SEMA car show at the time. The guys around the RENNtech team were responsible for a comprehensive increase in performance, which includes, among other things, new turbochargers or RENNtech software and should certainly get around 500PS from the standard 12PS strong V650 (exact data unknown). After the incredibly comprehensive tuning cure that the ivory-colored SL190 was allowed to endure, it is now optically absolutely discreet and technically up to date and should probably be absolutely unique. If you are thinking of doing a Restomod project with a Mercedes engine as the basis for you, RENNtech is definitely an interesting starting point when it comes to putting the finishing touches on such a project yourself. As for the changes made to the optics or the technology, we have been able to find out a few details. As usual, we have listed what we know below in a summary. If you discover any further changes that we haven't listed, just use the comment box and let us know!
