An elaborate compressor conversion, alternatively a turbocharger strapped into the narrow engine compartment and a sports exhaust system and at least € 10.000 including installation and coordination are gone. With the current M3 F80 / M4 F82 generation, however, it looks significantly different. The M2014 Limo, which has been produced since 3, for example, now has a twin-turbo in-line six-cylinder with 3,0 liters of displacement that delivers 317 kW and 431 PS ex works and makes the M3 / M4 as popular in the tuning area as the RS4 B8 or also the bi-turbo Mercedes C63 AMG. Now at last it is possible to achieve a significant increase in performance in the M3 with relatively simple means.
The guys around the EAS (European Auto Source) team have released an F80 M3 that has received such an increase in performance. After the tuning cure that this M3 was allowed to endure, thanks to Evolution Racewerk's downpipes and an ESS Tuning Stage 1 performance software, it is now a good 100PS stronger than the production version and should hardly be slower than the big M5 F10 brother in production. If you are thinking of buying an M3 in the future or already own one, the two options mentioned above are definitely a good option when it comes to making the vehicle from the production model appear stronger.
